Although the root of all the evil inflicted upon the Palestinians lies much further back than what the videos show, the source of the Israeli evil directed at the people of Gaza can be traced to the Six-Day War of June 1967 and the forty years of colonization that followed. As we have written elsewhere on this website: nothing happens without a cause—not even the events of October 7th. For this reason, a historical understanding of the current situation is far more significant than the protective shield Western powers have placed over the Israelis.
